Why Long-Tail Wins on Etsy

For Etsy specifically, long-tail keywords (4-6 words) convert better than head terms because the buyer has already narrowed their intent. "Custom dog portrait" is a head term with high competition. "Custom watercolor dog portrait from photo" is a long tail with lower competition AND higher buyer intent.

Mobile Shoppers
